The Amateur:
greenhouse is
supplied as standard with our unique Ventaccess sliding ventilators to each
alternate bay. These, used in conjunction with the roof ventilation (also
supplied as standard) provide natural air movement around plants at all
levels of the greenhouse, and as their name suggests, they also give easy
access from outside the greenhouse for plants grown underneath the staging.

Heights include concete base plinths.
The Traditional:
style greenhouses have parallel sides that don't restrict the growing space
at high level and are ideally suited to the addition of high-level shelving.
So the Cedar Traditional is the greenhouse for those people who need the
maximum amount of ground space and who prefer the looks and superior
insulating properties of Cedar.
Alton Cedar
Traditional greenhouses have many of the same features as the Amateur range
- Ventaccess sliding ventilators, roof ventilation, full-length glass
panels, preservative treatment, sliding door, guttering and downpipes are
all included as standard. And, of course, Cedar has am inherent resistance
to rot so you can expect your Cedar Traditional to last a lifetime with
regular maintenance.

The Popular:
greenhouse will be a compliment to any garden. Its generous proportions and
superior performance will ensure you get the most possible out of it.
The Popular greenhouse is constructed from selected Cedar Wood and will
therefore blend attractively into any garden. It will become an attractive
feature to admire rather than a building to hind away at the end of the
garden. All timber is supplied pre-treated in Cuprinol Preservative.
lean-to:
comes in two varieties, either the 5' deep Traditional vertically sided
building or the Amateur 7' depth building with sloping sides.
Like the rest of the Alton range, these buildings are
designed for erecting with a 5" high perimeter base plinth between the
ground and the bottom of the timber frame. Our purpose-designed sectional
concrete plinth provides a really solid, attractive and economical way of
doing this.
Octagonal greenhouse:
has been specially designed to provide a very attractive alternative to the
traditional shaped greenhouse. Its distinctive style will grace any garden
setting and its compact shape makes it ideal for the smaller garden.
The Octagonal has all the
benefits for which the Alton range is famed and upon which we have built our
reputation.
